The Milwaukee Minis gathered in West Allis at Cream City Custard. Together we enjoyed custard treats. Conversation turned frequently to the upcoming MTTS Chicago event.
Our crew consisted of Jenny, Brian and myself. We had mixed opinions on the strengths of the dinner fare, but overall it was delicious. The flavor of the day was the unique Mexican Fried Custard. Not quite sure what to expect, it turned out to be a tasty mix of cinnamon, caramel and crunchy fried crispy bits in vanilla custard. I’ve actually never had fried ice cream, so I can’t really compare. But it doesn’t matter, because this custard is worth the trip. Stay in the air-conditioning with your cone though, it can get drippy real fast. View Photos…
