Fate nearly wiped Bessie out today at 99,998 miles. A flock of turkeys decided to take flight just as Bessie passed. They, of course, decided to cross the road. Luckily, we didn't find out why, they all made it safely across and Bessie traveled on for another 2 miles to hit... 100,000 miles! Yeah! So,
Bessie traveled to International Autos, Milwaukee, to visit the youngest member of the new MINI line, the MINI Clubman. We didn't get a chance to take a spin in the new Clubman. Just before the first big storm in Wisconsin, Bessie has been fortunate enough to suit up with winter tires. We got a great deal on a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks complete with steel rims. So far, so good, but we have yet to see how they do in something more than just a light dusting.
