Return to Cream City Custard
The Milwaukee Minis gathered in West Allis at Cream City Custard. Together we enjoyed custard treats. Conversation turned frequently to the upcoming MTTS Chicago event. Fourth of July Parade ’08
Bessie, Tosh and I celebrated Independence Day with the city of New Berlin and the Milwaukee Minis. We thrilled the crowds with our outrageous decorations, a classic Mini and our Wyoming Lady Bug. Geogie Porgie’s
Everywhere Bessie went this evening, she encountered too much traffic. The highway traffic made us fashionably late. The restaurant traffic was a testament to it's festive atmosphere and variety of delicious food. Georgie Porgie's was worth the 30 minutes of crawling 3 miles. Well, maybe not with these gas prices, but it was good food
Camera Failure + British Car Field Day ’08
Thunderstorms, floods and tornados did not show up to spoil my day at British Car Field Day. Rather, it was a calamitous fault with my camera, a Canon Powershot S70. It just stopped. There I was, taking photos, looking through the viewfinder, click the shutter and nothing. It was just dead. Batteries were exchanged, buttons
