Jenni’s Old Fashioned Home-Made Ice Cream

Austin, TX – July 31, 2004

We drove over 1,000 miles just to make ice cream at Jenni's place in Austin.
Jenny crushes the malted milk balls with vigor.
Emily pours in the essential cream.
Jenni adds the chocolate syrup. Emily stirs.
Jenni adds the malted milk ball bits. Emily stirs.
Trying to add excitement to her stirring job, Emily tries holding a cantaloupe to pass the time.
Jenni pulls out the electric ice cream maker. Ahhh, the wonders of the modern world.
Emily finishes stirring and Jenni adds the mixture to the maker.
We wait patiently for over 20 minutes.
And it's done!
Jenny adds the appropriate fixings
John takes time to sample the wares.
Jenni is pleased with her latest creation.
