Amy’s Ice Cream

Austin, TX – August 3, 2004

Everyone packs into the MINI for an exciting evening out on the town in Austin, Texas.

Bessie takes us first to dinner.

We select none other than Brick Oven for delicious pepperoni and sausage pizza.

After dinner, we head downtown to the river.

There we watched as hundreds of thousands of bats streamed out of the bridge just after sunset. (That thin grey line stretching across the sky just above the trees)

A lovely wall decoration at Amy's. What wasn't lovely was the haughty attitude of the servers.

The ceiling had fun clouds on it. The staff found it annoying that we dared to take pictures.

I tried the blueberry, Emily the coffee with some mix-ins. It was good, but expensive!

There's Amy's tucked away back there, packed with people.

We had interesting stone cows to keep us company while we ate our ice cream.
