It’s been a busy fall and I’ve finally gotten the last two adventure photos up… now that it’s snowing. Enjoy our final event of the season with the Milwaukee Minis at Kopp’s in Glendale. Also, the crew visited the North Lake Inn for pizza, cheesy garlic bread and Sprecher’s root beer with free refills. The cheesy garlic bread is not my favorite kind, but it was accompanied by garlic salt which was nice. The pizza was delicious and the root beer fantastic.

Pizza Excursions

Ann’s Italian Restaurant is a busy, busy place on a Friday night. We waited 1.5 hours for a table. It was well worth the wait, the visit to the Halloween store and the thrift shop treasures. The cheese bread was a perfect blend of crispy crust and buttery dough topped with lovely cheese. Then came the pizza! It was delightful. We had our usual sausage and pepperoni mix. The flavor! A wonderful spiciness. MMMmmm. If only we didn’t have so many other places to explore. Afterwards, we visited Divino Gelato Cafe in Waukesha. The pumpkin gelato was like pie! I love fall… view photos.

Pal’s Ice Cream Shoppe & Grille

Ice Cream Escapades

Pal’s Ice Cream Shoppe & Grille is part of Catherine’s Corners, a Victorian house reconstructed to hold little shops with a common seating area in the middle. The new complex is located in Genesee Depot and currently has a coffee shop and Pal’s. At Pal’s, I tried the burger with a pretzel bun, which was wonderful. The vanilla fudge swirl ice cream was deliciously light and fluffy, almost verging on a whipped cream sort of texture. View photos…
