It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon when Jenny and I couldn’t decide what to have for lunch. So, off we went in Bessie to have lunch, ice cream, and adventures at Mullen’s Dairy Bar in Watertown, WI. It was delicious with marvelous atmosphere.

Tomorrow we embark once again into the great void we call Illinois. Following that, we will wind our merry way through the states leading to Texas. Meet back here in about a week or so for the photos.

Just when the neighbors thought we couldn’t surprise them anymore, we brought home our newest head-turner. My father managed somehow to get a cameo rose 1958 Thunderbird for his upcoming birthday. Here’s Bessie’s new driveway mate.
